If you’re a foreign freelancer (autónomo) living in Spain, I can help you handle your taxes and registrations in English.
Registering as a freelancer is not just about filling out a form—I guide you through a personalized Q&A process to understand your situation and make sure you’re registered correctly with Social Security and the Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT).
I’ll explain:
- How to issue invoices correctly (both to Spanish and international clients)
- Which expenses you can deduct and in what proportion
- How VAT works in Spain and whether you need to register in the ROI (EU VAT Registry)
I provide a bookkeeping template in English and a simple system to organize your invoices and receipts via Google Drive. Every quarter, I review your books and prepare your tax filings (130, 303, 390…). If you prefer, I can handle the bookkeeping of your invoices and expenses directly, instead of you doing it yourself. This is an optional service and it’s billed separately.
If your business grows and your income reaches a certain level, I will advise you on whether it makes sense to switch from freelancer (autónomo) to an SLU (Single-Member Limited Company) to optimize your taxes and protect your personal assets. If you decide to make the change, I can guide you through the entire process of setting up and transitioning to an SLU as an additional service (charged separately).
Your annual income tax return is included if you’ve been working with me for at least 3 months.
If you have assets or cryptocurrencies abroad, I can also help you with Form 720 and Form 721 (this is an additional service).
We communicate mainly by email, and if needed, we can also schedule a call or a video meeting.
